Trailer for Qala: The movie, in which Triptii Dimri and Babil Khan appear, is slated to debut on Netflix on December 1.

A singer's career in the film industry is the subject of the Qala trailer, which has just been released. The movie's trailer, which is set in the 1940s, follows Triptii Dimri's character as she pursues the zenith of her profession as a singer. As she becomes more prosperous, she begins to lose her sense of reality, and the new rival, Jagan, played by Babil Khan, begins to distract her.

In the teaser, Qala contacts her mother several times, but each time it seems to be a one-way discussion, pushing her over the edge.

Along with Babil Khan, Amit Sial, Amit Trivedi, Girija Oak, Kausar Munir, Samir Kochhar, Swanand Kirkire, Tasveer Kamil, and Varun Grover, Triptii Dimri plays the title role in the movie. In a prior collaboration for the 2020 movie Bulbbul, Anvitaa Dutt and Karnesh Sharma produced the movie.

In this movie, Babil Khan, the son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, makes his acting debut. At a gathering, he spoke candidly about making his acting debut, saying, "One of my close friends worked as Anvita's assistant, and I was interested in the project even before I read the script. I was prepared to audition and never gave it a second thought. It was right after Baba had died away, and I was hurt and exposed. I felt very protected when I arrived at Clean Slate Films.

Anvitaa Dutt had previously commented, "Karnesh and I both thought it was a crucial story to convey. We gave it a late 1930s musical backdrop, which is both moving and evocative. With Netflix as our partner, it has been a thrilling and fulfilling journey to bring this narrative to life. It has been twice as much joy for me to develop a homegrown story for audiences around the world on this, our second tour together.
