Anthony Robert McMillan OBE, also known as Robbie Coltrane, was a Scottish actor and comedian. He is well known for his remarkable work as Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter film series (2001–2011) and as Valentin Dmitrovich Zukovsky in the James Bond films GoldenEye (1995) and The World Is Not Enough (1999).

The Scottish actor suffered from osteoarthritis and later experienced constant pain all day back in 2016, and from 2019 he was on a wheelchair. Coltrane died at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert on October 14, 2022, after being ill for two years. He was 72. His sister Annie Rae, his children Spencer and Alice, and their mother, Rhona Gemmell, survive him.
