Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, Sarika, and Danny Denzongpa feature in the film "Uunchai". The film's narrative of three friends who trek to the Everest Base Camp is told in Uunchai. As they face their physical constraints and learn what true freedom means, what starts out as a straightforward hike becomes a psychological, emotional, and spiritual adventure journey.

The movie was filmed in a number of places in Nepal, including Kathmandu and the most perilous airport in the world, Lukla, along with Kargil, Delhi, Mumbai, and Uttar Pradesh.

Rajshri Productions, Boundless Media, and Mahaveer Jain Films collaborated to produce the 2022 Indian drama film "Uunchai", which was written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Rajshri Productions' 60th film is titled "Uunchai."

On November 11, 2022, it will be released in theatres. Through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Yash Raj Films is releasing it overseas.
